Looking for a mom jeans outfit you can put together with a few favorite pieces? Start with a white tee, a buttoned cardigan or a bright red vest.
These looks include tapered jeans plus some wider and straighter pairs, so there’s plenty of inspiration even if your favorite fit is a little different.
Think of all the outfits mom's jeans could inspire, from sneakers and a sweatshirt to a pretty top with heels. You can keep things simple or dress them up.
I especially love the burgundy flats and oversized jackets below!
Jeans outfit ideas worth saving
white tee and loose blue jeans
We’re starting off with this simple white tee and blue jeans combination. The fitted cropped top looks so cute with the loose, full-length legs and little turned-up hems.
If you want to take this look out, add a pair of white sneakers and a small shoulder bag.
black blazer and brown accessories
I love this oversized black blazer with the light-blue jeans. A taupe sweater sits over a white crewneck underneath, with just a little white showing at the neck.
Try brown sneakers and a roomy brown bag to follow this look. Those oversized sunglasses are a lovely finishing touch.
buttoned cardigan and rolled hems
How cute is this cardigan outfit? The big buttons and loose sleeves are so pretty with the gray-blue jeans.
I especially love the brown belt with its round buckle.
Roll your hems above white sneakers to try the same combination. Leave a little of the belt showing beneath the cardigan.

black biker jacket
If you’re looking for a mom jeans outfit that sticks to a few simple pieces, go with this one. The black biker jacket sits over a black top, with cropped blue jeans and black lace-up shoes below.
The large black clutch keeps the accessories just as simple.
red tee and colorful sneakers
I am obsessed with the colors in this outfit. The red graphic tee looks so good with blue jeans and those green, navy and yellow sneakers.
Don’t forget the jewelry if you want to follow this look. The large hoops and layered gold-tone necklaces make the plain neckline a little more fun.
tan top and strappy heels
Want to dress your jeans up without adding lots of pieces? This tan sleeveless top and matching heels are such a pretty place to start.
The light-blue jeans have tapered legs and little frayed hems.
Add a small silver-colored clutch like the one here for a little shine.
cream turtleneck and wide legs
This cream sweater may just be one of my favorites here. I love the tall folded neckline and the ribbed pattern running in different directions.
The jeans are wider than a classic tapered mom fit. Keep those brown pointed shoes peeking out beneath the long hems if you want to try this version.
checked shirt and ripped knees
If you like a checked shirt, this one’s for you. The cream-and-gray checks sit over a white cropped top, with big knee rips giving the blue jeans a different look.
Wear your shirt open and finish with black high-top sneakers. A little black shoulder bag is all this outfit needs.
burgundy stripes and brown sneakers
How cute are these burgundy stripes? I love the loose top with the curved, roomy legs of the pale-blue jeans.
The brown sneakers and small brown bag are lovely together too.
Try leaving your top mostly untucked, just like this, if you want to keep the same easygoing look.
white jeans and black boots
Don’t want to wear blue jeans? No problem! This white pair looks so cute with a fitted black long-sleeve top and chunky lace-up boots.
The black belt and handbag bring the same color through the whole outfit. I’d keep those details if you’re recreating it.
long trench and bold stripes
There’s so much to love about this striped top. The blue and burgundy bands peek out beneath a long beige trench, with a pale collar showing at the neck.
Pair yours with cropped light-blue jeans and brown lace-up shoes. Let the striped cuffs show below the coat sleeves too.

cream corset-style top
I am obsessed with this cream top. The curved neckline and outlined panels look so pretty with the wide blue jeans.
If you want a dressier jeans look, try the chunky gold-tone necklace and chain-strap bag shown here. The pale pointed shoes peeking out below the hems finish it off.

red vest and deep cuffs
This is another cute way to bring red into your outfit. A bright vest goes over a white tee, with a little of the tee showing at the waist.
My favorite part is the deep cuff on each leg. Try that fold with brown loafers if your jeans have enough extra length.
white wrap blouse and tan boots
How pretty is this white blouse? I love the puffed shoulders and the wide wrap detail at the waist.
You don’t need much else with a top like this.
The cropped blue jeans leave the tan pointed ankle boots on show. Add a mustard-colored clutch to follow the same color combination.
open white shirt
Don’t want to go all out and want something simple? Try an open white button-front shirt over a fitted white top.
The loose blue jeans have small turned-up hems.
Push your sleeves up like this and add dark oval sunglasses. I love the little two-tone handbag with these plain pieces.
cropped brown puffer
The brown and pale-blue pairing is so cute in this outfit. The cropped puffer ends around the high waistband, while the wide jeans fall over white sneakers.

gathered tee and pale jeans
This is another white tee look, but it’s a little different from the first. I love the gathered sides of the fitted top with those extra-roomy pale jeans.
The white sneakers, black shoulder bag and narrow sunglasses keep the rest simple. No extra layers needed to recreate the pictured combination.
burgundy bow flats
These burgundy flats may just be my favorite shoes on this list. The glossy finish and little bows look adorable beneath the blue jeans.
The white long-sleeve top has a delicate trim around the neckline. Keep that small detail if you want something a little prettier than a plain crewneck.
gray hoodie and dark jeans
If you’re looking for an outfit without lots of accessories, go with this gray hoodie and dark-blue jeans. The shorter hems show off the white sneakers with black stripes and tan soles.

I love how simple this one is. You can leave the hoodie loose rather than trying to tuck it all in.
camel coat and black ankle boots
Last but definitely not least, we have this camel coat outfit. I love the long coat with the black top and light-blue jeans.
Those frayed hems look so good above the black ankle boots.
Leave your coat open to show the pieces underneath. A small black shoulder bag finishes the combination.
