Looking for a peasant top outfit with something other than your usual jeans? Think a pale green top with a long white skirt, little gingham checks or a pair of brown cowboy boots.
These looks give you plenty of ways to wear gathered sleeves, ruffles and tie-front details.
You can keep things simple or add a few extra accessories. There are some related blouse and layering looks here too, so not every outfit features a traditional peasant top.
Peasant tops and blouse outfits worth saving
white ties and flared jeans
We’re starting off strong with this pretty white tie-front top and blue flared jeans. I love the scalloped detailing along the hem.
The brown shoulder bag and pointed shoes look so good together.

Try a brown belt if you want to bring that same color into the middle of your outfit.
leafy details and blue shorts
How cute are those little leafy designs? The white blouse has ruffles at the shoulders and cuffs, with blue cutoffs keeping the outfit casual.
Pair yours with tan ankle-strap wedges to follow this look. The half-circle bag is another lovely detail worth saving.
pale green and a white skirt
I am obsessed with this pale green top. It’s so pretty with the long white skirt, especially with those big sleeves and the gathered off-the-shoulder neckline.

Don’t forget the layered white bead necklaces if you want to try the same combination.
rust puff sleeves
If you are looking for a little color without adding a print, this one is for you. The rust-colored top has a gathered bodice, puff sleeves and a small flared hem.
Blue jeans and gold-tone hoops are all it needs.

gingham and cowboy boots
This may just be one of my favorite shorts outfits here. I love the loose gingham blouse with the pale blue cutoffs.
Those tall brown cowboy boots make it a little different from the usual sandals pairing.
Keep the blouse untucked if you want to follow this look.
cream gathers and gray jeans
Don’t want to add lots of accessories? No problem!
Try this cream blouse with loose gray jeans. The gathered neckline and big sleeves give you plenty of detail without adding jewelry or a belt.

red flowers on pink
The red and pink pairing is so cute in this top. I especially love the large flowers and little gathered cuffs.
White pants keep the rest of the outfit simple.
Try a stack of gold-tone bangles like the ones here if you want another little detail.
beige neckline and dark mini
Want a skirt idea to save alongside your blouse outfits? This fitted beige off-the-shoulder top is a different style from a peasant blouse, but the dark mini and tall pointed boots are worth a look.
For your own variation, try the skirt with a gathered off-the-shoulder blouse instead.
brown fringe over white
That brown fringe jacket is hard to miss! This outfit uses a plain white crewneck rather than a peasant top, with white wide-leg pants and leopard-print shoes underneath.
If you’d like to borrow the combination, try a white peasant blouse in place of the crewneck. I’d keep those printed shoes.
little checks and yellow shoes
How cute is this gingham top? The gathered bodice and ruffled hem look lovely with the white pants.
Not gonna lie, those pale yellow shoes are a favorite detail too!
Add colorful necklaces if you want to follow the playful accessories here.
bell sleeves and a checked skirt
I love this black tie-front layer with the long checked skirt. The white top peeking through the opening keeps it from being all dark colors.
This is another layering idea rather than a classic peasant blouse look. Keep the wide bell sleeves and chunky black shoes if those are your favorite parts.
cream ruffles and dark jeans
If you are looking for a top with lots of pretty details, then this one is for you. There are ruffled edges, wide sleeves and long cream scarf ends hanging down the front.

The sheer blouse sits over a pale underlayer. I love the small burgundy bag next to those dark jeans.
flowers and a blue mini
How adorable is this off-the-shoulder top? The wide cream ruffle has colorful flowers across the front and a decorative border along the bottom.
Pair it with a blue mini skirt to follow this outfit. A blue flower in your hair is a sweet extra touch if you want to take it a step further.
a blue peplum layer
This is a different way to show off puff sleeves. A dark blue peplum top sits over a white collared blouse, with matching blue pants below.
I especially love the red pointed shoes. For a peasant-blouse variation, try a collarless white blouse under a similar sleeveless top.
coral shirt and white tank
Don’t want to wear your blouse buttoned all the way up? Try this open-shirt combination with a white cropped tank and blue jeans.
The coral shirt has full sleeves with wide gathered cuffs. Those are my favorite part of this simple layered look.
white trim and olive pants
This peasant top outfit may just be my favorite one so far. I love the little floral shapes around the square neckline and hem.
The wide olive pants look so good with the loose white blouse.
Leave the hem untucked so you can see that pretty border.
a patterned waist and brown pants
If you like adding a little extra detail at the waist, save this one. The cream blouse is paired with a patterned corset-style waist layer, high-waisted brown pants and a narrow belt.
The brown lace-up boots finish the outfit. I’d keep the blouse simple to try a similar combination.

blue checks and scalloped shorts
I love this blue-and-white gingham blouse with the white shorts. The puff sleeves are cute on their own, but those scalloped shorts make the pairing even prettier.
Leave a couple of buttons open at the neckline if you want to show layered necklaces like these.
flutter sleeves and cargo pants
Here is another white-and-olive idea, but it’s a little different from the one above. This collage pairs a white flutter-sleeve top with wide cargo pants and white sneakers.
The small brown shoulder bag is a lovely addition. Try gold-tone hoops and a few rings if you want to follow the accessories too.
cream ties and leopard shoes
Last but definitely not least, we have this cream openwork tie-front layer. It’s worn over a black cropped top with loose light-blue jeans, rather than as a traditional peasant blouse.
I love the flared sleeves and leopard-print shoes! Keep the layered gold-tone necklaces if you want that same little bit of shine.
