These looks include simple gowns plus a few all-out combinations with oversized hats and dramatic wraps.
You can keep the accessories minimal or go big on sparkle. I especially love the sweetheart necklines and little black clutches.
There’s plenty here to save for your next dressy occasion.

strapless black and long gloves
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous strapless dress and long black gloves. I love the gentle dip at the neckline and the rows of white beads sitting just above it.
Try a close-fitting pearl-style necklace if you want to follow this look. You really don’t need much else.
wide brim and square neckline
How gorgeous is this oversized hat? The wide brim nearly hides the eyes, with rectangular earrings peeking out below it.
The square-neck black dress keeps the rest quite simple.
Pair yours with long gloves and a little gold-trimmed clutch to bring the look together.
off-shoulder straps and waves
This dress may just be one of my favorites here. I love the narrow off-shoulder straps and the gathered detail across the hips.
The skirt opens out a little toward the ankles.
Keep the black open-toe heels if you want this same combination. A short sparkling necklace looks so pretty with that neckline.
sweetheart neckline and black wrap
I am obsessed with this sweetheart neckline. It’s so pretty with the fluffy black layer draped around the arms and that neat pearl-style necklace.
Try pulling your hair into a low bun like this to show off a pair of round statement earrings.
long sleeves and a little pendant
If you are looking for something a little less accessorized, this one is for you. The off-shoulder dress has long sleeves and a skirt that flares slightly below the knees.
The small pendant and oversized sunglasses are my favorite finishing touches. Black pointed pumps keep the outfit in the same color from top to bottom.
big sleeves and a high slit
If you are looking for a true eye-catcher, then this one is for you. There’s so much to love, from the oversized folded sleeves to the wide, flat hat.
The high slit and tall pearl-style choker make this an all-out look. I’d keep the long black gloves too.
halter neckline and cream wrap
The cream and black pairing is so pretty in this outfit. A fluffy cream wrap sits around the arms, with sheer black gloves and a gold-trimmed clutch underneath.
Don’t want to add a necklace? Follow this halter-neck look and choose large earrings instead.
white trim and pointed pumps
How cute is this black-and-white combination? The white neckline trim and matching cuffs give the long black dress a completely different look.
The collage pairs it with white bow-detail pumps, layered white beads and a black top-handle bag. There’s a separate white wrap shown too if you want another layer.
red lips and sheer gloves
I love this strapless black dress with the sheer opera gloves. The deep sweetheart neckline and curled hair are gorgeous together.
Try a bright red lip if you want that little touch of color. This look keeps the neckline bare rather than adding a necklace.
decorated halter and tilted hat
This is another beautiful hat look, but it’s a little different from the ones above. I love the bow on the tilted brim and the patterned decoration across the dress.
The gloves have wide cuffs with tiny sparkling details. Keep those in mind if you want something other than plain opera gloves.
simple halter gown
Don’t want to go all out with trim or embellishments? No problem!
This black halter gown has a plain front, a glossy finish and a long skirt that pools at the bottom.
I’d add drop earrings and leave the high neckline just as it is.
folded neckline and sparkling accessories
This is actually one of my favorite outfit collages here. The folded off-shoulder neckline is so pretty, plus that sparkling bag handle is a lovely little detail.

Pair a long black dress with glossy pointed pumps and a black wrap to try the combination. Add a silver-tone necklace and bracelet if you want the extra sparkle shown here.
long black dress and slim sunglasses
If you’re looking for a way to skip the gloves and oversized hat, go with this long-sleeve dress and narrow sunglasses. I love the gathered off-shoulder neckline.
The structured black handbag and delicate necklace keep the accessories quite simple.
one shoulder and gathered hips
This one-shoulder gown is so gorgeous on its own. The diagonal neckline and folds across the hips are my favorite parts.
The collage also includes long black gloves and a white wrap shown over a separate dress. Try those accessories with the one-shoulder gown if you want a more dressed-up combination.

draped pearl-style strands
If you love lots of jewelry, then this one is for you. White pearl-style strands loop across the black bodice and around the upper arms. There are even more rows at the neck!
The long black gloves and pale fluffy wrap carry on that all-out look. I’d let the draped strands be the main detail.
open back and oversized bow
How gorgeous is the back of this dress? I am obsessed with the oversized bow and all those long folds falling beneath it.
The deep V-shaped back is paired with sparkling round earrings and a small striped clutch. Try an updo if you want to show even more of the back.
angled neckline and flared hem
Don’t want to add gloves or a wrap? No problem there!
This strapless gown has an angled neckline and a fitted skirt that opens into a wide, sweeping hem.

A short sparkling necklace and slim bracelet are all this look needs. I love how simple the accessories are.
full skirt and sparkling ankle straps
This full-skirted dress is such a pretty change from the narrower gowns. I love the shaped bodice and broad straps, especially with the layered pearl-style necklaces.
The collage has plenty of accessories to choose from. I’d start with the long gloves and black sandals with sparkling ankle straps, then decide whether to add the little shoulder bag.

sheer floral sleeves
The floral details are my favorite part of this gown. They run across the sheer neckline and all the way down the long sleeves, with a sweetheart-shaped black bodice underneath.
Keep your hair up if you want to show the scalloped neckline. The narrow waist detail and trailing skirt are lovely without adding a big necklace.
draped shoulder and long panels
Last but definitely not least, we have this gorgeous asymmetric black gown. I love the draped neckline and the long panels hanging beside the skirt.
The drop earrings are a pretty finishing touch. I’d keep the rest simple so you can really see those folds across the shoulder and waist.
