These ideas give you plenty to try, whether you’re getting dressed for a casual afternoon or something a little dressier.
You can keep things simple or add a few extra details. Start with a combination you love, then choose the shoes and accessories.
There’s no need to stick to just one shape or style.
Petite outfit ideas worth saving
cream top and blue jeans
We’re starting off strong with this cute cream top and blue jeans combo. I love the deep V neckline and the little gathered detail at the front.
Pair yours with dark open-toe shoes and a small brown shoulder bag. A chunky bangle like this one is a pretty extra touch.
beige jacket and light jeans
How cute is this little beige jacket? The round neckline and gold-tone buttons look so good over a plain white tee.
Light-blue wide-leg jeans and pale sneakers keep the rest casual.

If you’re collecting slim petite girl outfits, this is a lovely combination to try with pieces you may already own.
black top and patch pockets
Don’t want to go overboard with accessories? No problem!
Try this sleeveless black high-neck top with dark wide-leg jeans. The large front pockets and light stitching give the jeans a little something extra.
wrap-front shorts and tall boots
This may just be one of my favorite boots outfits here. I love the angled panel across the taupe shorts, especially with the simple black turtleneck.
Keep the black tights and pointed tall boots if you want the same look. The little chain-strap bag finishes it off.
cream dress with black trim
I am obsessed with the black edging on this cream wrap-style dress. It follows the neckline, sleeves and curved hem, with a round buckle at the side.
Try black strappy sandals to match the trim. A gold-tone pendant like the one here looks so pretty in that open neckline.

cropped trench and dark jeans
If you are looking for a layered outfit that keeps the colors simple, this one is for you. The short tan trench sits over a cream sweater, with dark jeans and black ankle boots below.
Let your sweater cuffs peek out like these. I especially love the brown crossbody bag with the tan jacket.
number tee and loose jeans
How cute is this sporty tee? The navy sleeves match the big number on the front, while the loose light-blue jeans keep the outfit simple.
Add black flip-flops and a little shoulder bag to follow this look. You can clip your hair up too if you like that last detail.
blue shirt and cream shorts
The pale blue and cream pairing is so pretty in this outfit. Tuck a button-front shirt into high-waisted shorts, then add a narrow brown belt.
I love the rolled sleeves and pale shoulder bag. You don’t need lots of jewelry with this combination.
black dress and white sneakers
Don’t want to wear heels with your dress? No problem there!
This black thin-strap dress looks lovely with white sneakers and an open cream cardigan.
The side slit and little pendant necklace are my favorite details. Try a tan bag like this one if you want another color alongside the black and white.
brown layers and white lace
I love the white lace detail peeking out above and below this dark brown cardigan. It’s such a pretty way to break up the brown top and trousers.
Leave a few upper buttons open over your camisole to try the same layering. The little tie and oval ring at the waist are cute too.
navy sweatshirt and white pleats
The pleated skirt fans are going to love this! A white collar peeks above the navy sweatshirt, with a short white skirt underneath.
Don’t forget the white socks showing above the tall black boots. That little detail brings the white back into the bottom half of the outfit.
olive puffer and cream beanie
This is a cute option if you want to bring a short jacket into your outfits. The olive puffer sits over a cream top, with slim dark jeans and black ankle boots.

I’d keep the cream beanie shown here. It looks so good with the olive jacket.
taupe top and cream trousers
If you’re looking for something simple to put together, go with this sleeveless taupe top and cream ankle-length trousers. The white sneakers keep it casual without adding another strong color.
The large tan tote is a lovely finishing touch. Try tucking your top in like this to leave the trouser waistband visible.
brown tank and big buckle
This is actually one of my favorite jeans looks on the list. The dark brown scoop-neck top is so pretty with the deep blue wide-leg jeans.
Start with a brown belt if you want to follow this outfit. Then add a matching bag and a few gold-tone accessories. That big buckle is worth keeping!
blue jumpsuit with shoulder bows
How adorable are those shoulder bows? I am obsessed with this pale blue jumpsuit.
The subtle floral pattern and wide legs are just as pretty as the neckline.

Keep your accessories simple with a small cream bag and pale open-toe shoes like these. I’d let the bows be the main detail.
gray polo mini dress
This gray dress gives you a little collar and a flared hem all in one outfit. I love the tiny light buttons down the front.
Try a dark clutch and stacked gold-tone bangles to follow this look. You could add black loafers if you want to keep the collared style going.
cream vest and blue collar
Here is another cute way to wear a pleated mini skirt. This time, there’s a cream sweater vest over a blue collared shirt, with the shirt ends showing beneath the vest.

I love the loose sleeves with the little skirt. Keep the tall black boots if you want the same combination.
square neckline and ankle boots
Don’t want to add layers or a statement belt? Try this black square-neck top with high-waisted blue jeans and pointed ankle boots.
The gold-tone hoops and tiny pendant are so pretty with that neckline. A small black shoulder bag is all I’d add.
olive cargos and black sleeves
Last but definitely not least, we have these loose olive cargo pants. I love the big pockets with the plain fitted black top!
